Teletherapy

Teletherapy, also known as online or “remote” therapy, is psychotherapy delivered through a virtual platform (such as Zoom and Doxy) via a computer, smart phone or tablet.  Research has shown that video calls to a therapist are a highly effective method for therapy delivery.  The interactive visual component of teletherapy adds a dimension that is not available via the telephone.  Teletherapy sessions work much in the same way as traditional therapy sessions in that the same therapeutic techniques as in-person sessions are utilized.
